My best memory was creating the "My Song" community project to give children and teens who have experienced a challenging situation (cancer, illnesses, bullying, eating disorders and any other personal challenges) the opportunity to fulfill their dream of becoming a recording artist. They have the opportunity to work with Grammy winning producers/ songwriters, write original music, record their music in a recording studio, create a personalized music video and share their music with the world!

I created this project to enrich the lives of others and to make a valuable contribution to her community.

“My Song” has teamed up with Capitol Records, Universal Music, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Westlake Studio, Paramount Recording, Jim Henson’s Studio and many others. Our Grammy winning producers and songwriters have written for: Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Demi Lovato, Pit Bull, Zendaya, Kanye West, Normani, Jason Derulo, CelineDeon, Drake, Brandy, Danity Kane, JoJo, Ceelo Green, Pussy Cat Dolls, Aaliyah, Prince, Mary J Blige, Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, Jordin Sparks and Macy Gray and many more! Music is healing. It soothes the soul. Many of our memories in life are attached to a song.

Not only do I want to fulfil their dreams, but I also want to create unforgettable, positive memories that will uplift their spirits. Happy spirits and a positive attitude can positively impact and transform any situation. I was a victim of bullying and overcame an eating disorder. Music was my outlet and I wanted to share this gift with others who had also experienced challenging situations.

Music gave me hope, courage and perseverance. I’m grateful to be of service and live my dream as a recording artist, songwriter and session singer. ”
